Special Opportunity

Event Leaders

We are seeking people responsible for running our kid events. Event leaders must participate in 5 events before "approved" to lead events and must have a State Police background check on file with TFKD. Leaders are responsible for coordinating with the Volunteer Coordinator and the agency to ensure that everyone makes it to the event on time. Leaders run the actual events, teaching kids to participate in the events. Time commitment - about 5 hours the week before the event, events typically run for 6-7 hours on a weekend day.

Wish you could do more to help us succeed in building character, self-esteem, teamwork and environmental awareness in urban youth? We need YOUR help! We continue to seek dedicated volunteers who want to help us reach urban kids with our environmental message.

If you would like to volunteer for one of our events, you must complete two things:

  1. A Volunteer Application: online or download and
  2. A Liability Waiver.
